Hypnotherapy

What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?
Clinical Hypnotherapy is a means of using hypnosis to treat a variety of medical and psychological problems. It is estimated that 85% of people respond very well to hypnosis. It often succeeds where other, more conventional, methods of treatment have not produced the desired results. When carried out by a professionally trained and skilled hypnotherapist, the benefits can be long lasting and often permanent in nature. It is impossible to describe exactly what hypnosis is like or what you will experiences as everyone is so unique, but be assured that it is usually a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Often the sensations you will have can be described as very similar to those when you are falling asleep or just before you wake up. We all experience trance like states all of the time - like day dreaming, focusing fully on TV, or becoming engrossed in a book. So everyone can and does experience the altered state of hypnosis. During hypnosis you are always in control and cannot be made to do anything against your will. Your subconscious mind will always protect you. You can also come in and out of hypnosis whenever you wish.
